2016 Officer & Trustee Election Results
Due to a serious accident and the subsequent travel chaos on the M6 motorway yesterday, we had to postpone our 'Guess Who' event last night - we had several members of staff stuck in traffic for over 5 hours, and we felt it was unsafe for students and guests to risk travelling. The event was to include Elections results, UCSU's Annual General meeting, free pizza and a party afterwards at Lancaster campus. We're working hard to reschedule the AGM event and will announce details in due course.
We're incredibly excited and proud to reveal your new elected Full Time Officer and Part Time Student Trustee team for 2016/17. They will take up office on July 1st 2016 for one full year. We'd like to say a huge well done and thank you to all of the fantastic candidates who stood in this year's elections. The variety and quality of their campaigns, ideas and pledges were some of the best we have ever seen and we know you'll all go on to achieve amazing things in your careers. Congratulations to your elected candidates - we're looking forward to welcoming them to the UCSU team this summer and getting started on another year full of representing and supporting all our members at the University of Cumbria!
