Food bank

You’ve probably had a very busy year at UOC so far, and are now getting ready to leave for summer. We know from experience that when students finish for summer, they often have lots of things left over.

This year, UCSU are encouraging all students to do something great with their leftovers. If you have food which has sat unopened and is still in date; drop it off at one of our drop off points so that it can be delivered to local food banks, to help support our local communities.

So when you're clearing out your kitchen cupboards if you find anything that may benefit the food bank, please drop it off at your nearest drop off point, or get in contact with UCSU, and help give back to your community.

What sorts of food can you donate?

  • Tinned Meat/Fish
  • Tinned Fruit and Vegetables
  • Tinned Spaghetti
  • Tinned Ravioli
  • Long life milk
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Instant mash potato
  • Coffee
  • Tea bags

Check out the specifics for your campus on these links:
