Food Bank

We know there are students who are having to isolate in halls to stop the spread of Coronavirus. Working with the university we have set up foodbank donation stations across all northern campuses for you to help us provide a three day nutritionally balanced food parcel to those students.

You can donate at:

Fusehill Street: UCSU Office - Ground Floor Learning Gateway Building

Lancaster: UCSU Office - Ground Floor Gateway Building

Brampton Road: UCSU Office - Main Building

Ambleside: The Barn, next to reception.

Food Parcels

If you are in a position to donate one or two items please see a list below of those that are most needed to make the food parcels.

Tea, coffee, long-life milk, fruit juice, biscuits, snacks, cereal, instant mash potato, pasta, pasta sauce, tinned meat, tinned vegetables & fruit, beans, puddings, soap/shower gel, toilet roll, toothpaste/brushes and sanitary items.

Thank you so much for helping out students during this difficult and unpredictable time.

If you have any questions about the foodbank and how it will work please get in touch at student.union@cumbria.ac.uk.
