NAME: CHLOE PRICE
I'm Chloe Price, a student at the Ambleside Campus and I'm about to go into my final year as a BSc student in Outdoor Adventure and Environment. I am originally from Wiltshire but I have been living in the Lake District for three years now. I am an avid rock climber which means I will probably be out clinging to a crag somewhere. This ties in nicely with my main area of study which is mycology - I'm such a fungi! Rocks and mushrooms are my life!
MY PRIORITIES FOR THE YEAR:
1) Reduce the amount of single-use plastic on all campuses
2) Create a community garden
3) Raise awareness about sustainable living
MY COURSE: OUTDOOR ADVENTURE AND ENVIRONMENTAL
MY CAMPUS: AMBLESIDE
EVEN MORE ABOUT ME:
WHAT BISCUIT BEST DESCRIBES YOU? Gingerbread - a bit fiery and you are what you eat, right?
YOU'RE STUCK ON A DESERT ISLAND. YOU CAN PICK THREE PEOPLE TO BE STUCK WITH YOU. WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE AND WHY? Bob Dylan, Boris Johnson and Beatrix Potter. Dylan's music is on another level and his songwriting obviously comes from a brilliant mind - I'm sure we could talk for weeks. Boris Johnson - I might need shark bait! Beatrix Potter - an excellent scientist who was years ahead of her time, a working farmer and an excellent mycologist. Also, I bet she'd tell good bedtime stories!
YOU'RE STUCK ON A DESERT ISLAND. YOU CAN EAT ONE MEAL FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. WHAT DO YOU CHOOSE AND WHY? Herdwick lamb stew - nothing tastes as good as locally reared, free-range meat in a world of factory farming
