Self defence class in freshers week for all campuses

In freshers week I think it is a good idea to have a self defence class as one of the welcome activities for all students to attend if they wish. Many parents of students can be worried when their child is moving away from home especially females and having something like this in place can put them at ease and allows the student to be more confident protecting themselves if needed.

I have been given a name of a man that would be more than happy to do this
This is a great idea for the uni. The nurses get this as part of their course and I think it would give great peace of mind to parents and students alike
