At the end of your time at University, you can request a certificate that accounts for all the hours that you have spent volunteering and which is counter signed by the University's Vice Chancellor. This could be volunteering that you have done with UCSU, with the University or with any charities - it all counts!
In order to be eligible for a certificate, you must have completed and submitted an Hours Form. Once you have filled in the details, you can send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can do this at the end of every Academic year if you wish - we will store the information for you, in order to issue the final certificate.
Requests for certificates should usually be submitted no later than the end of April/beginning of May.
It is worth completing your hours forms well and storing them in a safe place as these will be useful when it come to completing job applications!
