Running a Group can be a really rewarding experience and we will support you every step of the way. The trick is to keep in touch and to not be afraid to ask questions!

When running a group, you can either take over an existing Group or set up a completely new one. Leadership for existing groups is usually decided in February/March through an informal election process which happens within that Group.

All Group leaders will receive training, some of which, such as Risk Management and Finance, is mandatory. Training is usually offered before the end of the Academic year, in order to ensure that new Group leaders have all the skills that they need to run their Group in September.
