The University of Cumbria Students’ Union (UCSU) is a student-led charity, representing the views and interests of over 9,000 students at the University of Cumbria.
In addition to connecting UoC students with local volunteering opportunities, we also run our own volunteering projects and there are many ways for students to engage with fun and interesting activities, such as Welcome Helper roles during Freshers Weeks, Officer campaigns and volunteering project days with a range of charities.
Are you passionate about recycling? are you interested in the day to day operations of a working estates team?
An opportunity has arisen for a team of student volunteers to support the valuable environmental needs of the campus.
As part of this role you will be assiting with the recycling campaign on campus aswell as in student halls. You will help separate the recycling that's collected so that it can be managed correctly. You will be given training full training to complete this role and references can be given.
Any help with the recycling project would be fantastic, we can flexible around you and your time committments.
Minimum commitment level: Once a week
