New Years Resolutions with Activities Officer Kara

 

Time to make some positive changes for 2024 !

As the New Year has just begun, why not try to create some achievable goals to aim for over the next year? Remember when committing to your Resolutions you should; make a plan whilst being flexible with your expectations, use reminders to keep you on track, monitor your progress and lastly reward yourself! 

Here are some ideas for your New Years Resolutions 

1. Meet New People - Why not join one of our UCSU groups or Student Networks? There is a broad range of different groups from sports to course related societies, to join and meet lots of new people. 

2. Get Active - Getting Active is a great way to improve your physical and mental wellbeing! Why not join on of the UCSU sports groups or pop along to the UOC sports centres and check out what's going on? 

3. Improve Diet - Why not try to cook something new each week? By alternating recipes it varies the vitamins and minerals your body receives. Whilst your improving your food remember to drink plenty of water to keep you hydrated

4. Work life Balance -  Make effective use of your time! Create a weekly planner and schedule time to study as well as relax. 

5.Make more time for Hobbies
