Cumbria Down's Syndrome support group are a registered charity, set up over 13 years ago to help parents, carers and people with Down's Syndrome.
Recently we started holding Community events, to promote positivity about Down's Syndrome and Disability and bring the community together as a whole.
Our 1st Big event in Bitts Park was a lovely day with people from all walks of life enjoying the "Royal Wedding Event"
We have now been given permission by Cumbria County Council to have a Walk in Bitts park on Halloween night!

Cumbria Down's Syndrome Support group have been asked to go into Schools accross Cumbria to raise awareness about Down's Syndrome.
We are looking for somebody interested in Disability and Teaching.
A lesson plan would be discussed and formulated to be age appropriate for the children we would be speaking to.
If you think you are the right candidate, we would love to hear from you.
Our next batch of Schools is in Barrow.
