Tell Your Rep!

Tuesday 27-02-2024 - 14:47

Flowchart of where student support can be found within UCSU

Did you know that there is a whole network out there to represent you?

1. Class Reps

Class reps are students who volunteer their time to take your feedback about the course to relevant tutors and forums with a view of making your course even better!

UCSU acts as an independent source of training, support and guidance for Class Reps and can step in to help when they feel issues are not being resolved. This is where the Academic Officer fits in!

2. Advice Service

If you are experiencing academic issues that are personal to you, our independent Advice service is there to support you through most processes relating to Academic Regulations or just give you guidance on what to do next.

3. Officers & Campus Representatives

Together they listen and act on your feedback with regards to Academic or Wellbeing matters that are important to you. They also work with you to make what is available on campus even better and to provide opportunities for extra-curricular activities.

4. Ideas

Student life can be quite busy so we have created a simple platform for you tell us what you need/would like to see! Whether you are on or off campus we would like to hear how to improve things for you.

5. Student Enquiry Point

This is a University tool but in one gateway you can request Academic skills support, Wellbeing support and more.

So, if something is really annoying or just missing, "Tell your Rep" and make that change today!

If you have any questions about the Class Rep system, are interested in getting involved or have any questions about how UCSU represents you, get in touch via studentvoice@cumbria.ac.uk .
