Welcome to the University of Cumbria's first ever South Asian Society! Join us to be able to meet, greet and chill with people of similar ethnic backgrounds to you. No matter what course you study, what year you're in or whether your an undergraduate or postgraduate student, this society is the place for you. We hope to be able to bring everyone together so we can all meet because on campus, no one really gets to see people outside their course so this will be the place to make this happen. We are hoping to be running lots of events this year like chill movie nights (bollywood too ofc), bowling trips, cultural food days, religious celebrations together and the list goes on!
*Please note before joining that the events held will mostly be based in Lancaster so if you can make your way down from whichever campus you're at please join!!

- Members must try their best to attend all the social events held.
- Members must RSVP to events especially if the events require pre-bookings.
- Members must all respect one another's cultures, and religions. Any disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
- Members must be aware that some bigger events may not be fully funded by us. Some additional fees may be required for bigger and better events.
- Members must renew their memberships at the start of next academic year if you wish to stay a part of the society.
