As co-chair of the panel, I began my campaigning by going round sports teams within the university, watching their games and listening to their issues. I did this to show sports teams that the panel respects them and wants to work with them to maximise their potential. 

During my campaigning I realised that most sports teams are either under funded or not funded at all; but represent the university at national level. It was at this point I realised that more funding needs awarding to sports teams to make our university more attractive to proactive people. 

I am asking the panel to consider lobbying the university to put more money into sports teams.
