I would like to suggest that the university encouraged Baxter's Storey to introduce the option of paying by card on all catering outlets on Cumbria campuses. This is because a lot of students do not carry cash anymore whilst being on campus and if their cumbria card does not work, or does not have funds on it then the only other option is to get the minimum amount of money out of the cash machine, £10...however even those this is the minimum amount that can be gotten out of the cash machine it is still a lot of money. As well as this I believe it could encourage more students to stay on campus and together with their friends.
