We need your perspective on GenAI to support research project
Dustin Hosseini, lecturer in health science, is carrying out research alongside colleagues from 11 other universities, collecting student and staff perspectives on the use of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in higher education. Can you contribute to his research?
GenAI is transforming higher education, prompting a re-evaluation of learning, assessment, and academic practice. This research project explores how AI challenges traditional notions of intellectual work while offering new possibilities for personalised learning, inclusive access, and enhanced feedback. It emphasises the need for ethical, environmental, and social scrutiny of AI infrastructure, alongside active engagement with its potential. Central to this exploration is a shared commitment to creativity, curiosity, and applied learning, ensuring education remains relevant, responsible, and future-ready in an AI-enabled world.
