My name is Aidan. I love going to the gym, eating food (especially East Asian), making social media content and playing video games.
I studied Fine Art from 2021-2025 at the Brampton Road Campus where I made short films, costumes, sets and makeup looks.
I chose to re-run for this position as I enjoy working with the students. Whether that be through running craft events, supporting societies or implementing beneficial changes.
I plan to run engaging and fun wellbeing focused events that will allow our busy students some time to relax and refocus.
Approachability. I always aim for students to feel comfortable chatting with me about anything small or large.
In 2012 I took part in an Olympic dance ceremony during Secondary School. We performed on the street of Appleby-in-Westmorland and then ran behind the Olympic Torch Bearer through part of the town.
Japan and The Netherlands are my favourite places to go abroad. My favourite spot on campus is either the SU office on Fusehill Street (Learning Gateway ground floor) or The Cube because they have burgers.

I want to gain much more confidence within a professional and ‘corporate’ setting. I believe I have the approachability and cooperative teambuilding skills. I now need to use these transferable skills within a ‘behind the scenes capacity.’
