Learning Disability Week Event

The lovely Nurses from the Learning Disability course are hosting a fantastic event at the end of June in Lancaster.
Pop by the Gateway Building on the 21st and the Alexandra Building on the 22nd between 10 am and 3 pm to see the students and learn all about the difficulties faced by people with disabilities in today’s society. As well as gaining a great understanding you will also have the chance to take part in some learning opportunities such as a wheelchair campus tour, communication challenges, and visual impairment experiences.
There will also be free cake for anyone who asks for it using Makaton! All money raised on the day will go to Piccadilly Support Services in Lancaster
