Recently I have been noticing that my weeks are filling up VERY quickly with meetings which means I haven’t always had time to work on some of my campaigns!

This had to change, so this week I made an effort to block out some blocks of time so that I could work on some mini projects, I had a block for academic societies, a block for know the rules work, and a block to catch up on admin stuff. This was SOOO helpful and I found I got so much done!!

I also attended my VERY FIRST committee meeting on Monday! These are essentially big meetings where people from around the university come together and discuss different topics, update on projects their working on, and make sure everything is running smoothly.

I even gave an update about the work the student union has been doing over the last couple of months, and some of the campaigns we have planned over the year. It was very interesting, and everyone there is so supportive and kind!

Finally…

IT’S ALMOST WELCOME WEEK!!!! I am so excited! Our first officer event is a game of who’s more likely to… this Sunday 4-5! And its all go from there! We have a great line up this year, full of lots of interesting events and lots of our lovely societies are hosting events too! WHICH IS AMAZING!
