Not long now until Freshers…
It’s less than two week until Freshers’ week starts, and we can’t wait to welcome you all to University of Cumbria!
As a University of Cumbria student you are now a member of University of Cumbria Students’ Union (UCSU) too. We’re here to support you throughout your time at University of Cumbria and make sure that you get the most out of your university experience.
We’re really excited about our Freshers’ line-ups, and hope as many of you as possible join in with the variety of events we are running. Don’t forget to buy your wristband for guaranteed entry to all the evening events during the first week, and for access to additional special offers. Wristband price also includes your FREE BAR TOUR T-SHIRT! Keep an eye on our Freshers’ pages and Facebook for up to date information on events and meeting places.
Please note, Ambleside and London students DO NOT need a wristband. You can find more information about your Freshers’ weeks on our website.
Make sure you select the right campus for your wristband so we know where you'll be collecting it from. If you order a wristband and hoody special offer, you'll be able to choose your hoody size and colour when you pick up your wristband. Wristbands can be collected from your campus on arrival on Sunday 18th September from the following locations:
Carlisle
10:00 – 16:00 Dining Hall, Fusehill Street Campus or Reception, Brampton Road Campus
21:00 – 22:00 – Hell Below and Co, Carlisle
Lancaster
10:00 – 16:00 Gateway Building
20:00 – 21:00 The View, Gateway Building
Wristbands are available to University of Cumbria students only. You need to bring along a print-out or screen shot of your order to redeem your wristband. Please note your wristband is not I.D - bring along some I.D as entry is permitted at the discretion of each venue.
