Notice of Referendum: NUS Affiliation
This is notice given 12noon Monday 5th February 2024 from the Deputy Returning Officer that the University of Cumbria Students' Union will be holding a referendum on our affiliation to NUS UK online from Monday 19th February - Friday 23rd February 2024.
On the 1st February, the Executive Committee approved the Referendum Policy and schedule to go ahead along with the main officer elections.
REFERENDUM QUESTION:
Should the University of Cumbria Students’ Union dis-affiliate from the National Union of Students UK (NUS UK)?
Voting will take place online from Monday 19th February 00:00 - Friday 23rd February 23:59.
There was a virtual hustings on the 15th February, Thursday 2pm.

RESULT: Voting threshold was not met therefore UCSU will remain affiliated with NUS UK.
