What did you do before UCSU?

Many, many things... I have been a Bar Maid, Horse Rider, Business Coordinator, Orthopaedic Technician, Health Care Science Assistant and Equine Rehabilitation Assistant. 

 

Can you tell us a little about you?

I've got a master in Equine Science - specialising in rehabilitation and therapy. 

Outside of the SU, I coach CrossFit and British Weightlifting. 

I love the outdoors and can often be found out walking or swimming. 

 

What do you do at UCSU?

Like most of the team, I do a little bit of everything! But mostly I do HR, proving support to staff and facilitating meetings. I also drop in and out of events planning, comms and supporting the officers. 

 

What do you love most about your job?

The variety, the people- very few days are the same and your always having to be a little bit creative. 

The people - I love working with and supporting students, officers and staff.
