Alhamdulillah for Ramadhan, Cumbria ISoc have decided to join efforts with The Mosque Project @projectmosque (Instagram) to help raise money to build a mosque in Sierra Leone 🇸🇱.

There is an existing mosque already in Freetown Peninsula, however it needs renovating to make it beneficial for all the Muslims in the community.

The local community has over 5000 Muslims, and this mosque is the only one available to them.

Insha Allah, the new Masjid will be able to accommodate for up to 1000 worshippers, from an existing 500.

The second floor which we intend to build Insha Allah, will serve as an Islamic School, while night classes for adults will also be arranged.
