Having an area in the London library for group discussions and group work

A lot of work set in our campus is group-based, and our only way to get any sort of research done together is in the library. The staff are extremely strict in the library and constantly remind students to be quiet, even if students are whispering for the task. It can lead to a lot of complications if the group task has been set in the morning and is due in the afternoon. We are aware that books and laptops can be taken out and brought to an empty room, but sometimes constant access to books is needed to ensure we have the right resources and have the option to get up as a group and find the right resources we need throughout our task. If a part of the library’s could be segregated or if there was some sort of “meeting room” available there that students could book out in the library, it would be a massive help to us.

I strongly believe in everything that has been said, it's only fair to accommodate for group work if it is being set, and also allowing students more room to complete tasks.
