The petition I am putting forward is for there to be a university referenda on whether the student union should support the ‘Votes at 16 Coalition’. 

With the idea of votes at 16 being discussed in parliament of recent and with the Welsh Assembly passing the motion the university should have a referenda on the issue to establish whether the student union should join the coalition of universities, councils, colleges and schools that support the idea. 

Our university is becoming more popular due to its forward thinking and it is important that we establish ourselves on this issue.
