Stop asking students who have to wear uniform to pay for spare uniforms. The university unifroms for nursing and health professional students are of poor quality: they stain easily, gain holes after one placement and look unprofessional after so many washes. It is then put on the students shoulders to pay for new uniform to ensure they meet hospital and univeristy regulations. These uniforms are not cheap and 2 pairs of trousers costs £50!!! Why should students have to pay for extra uniforms if the uniforms given in the first place cannot last over two years!
