This is a trip to Martindale which will be to hopefully observe deer rutting. 

A minibus will leave campus at 4:45am which will be driven by Volker, there are only 16 spaces on the minibus. 

However, there is an option for people to drive themselves to the site but we need to be made aware if you are travelling there in your own car and if anyone is accompanying you. 

There is a short walk from where the minibus will be parked to the site where we will observe the deer rutting. Please wear walking boots/suitable footwear and waterproof coats and trousers if you have them.

Itinerary

Leaving campus at 4:45am 

Arrive at Martindale at 6am

Observing deer rutting 6am-8am (Will include a short walk from minibus to the site and back) 

Leave Martindale at 8am

Returning to campus at 9am
