This event is for 2nd year student paramedics only. 
 

This visit will provide children with an engaging introduction to basic first aid and emergency response. As student paramedics, we will teach the children simple first aid skills, CPR, and how, when and why to call 999. The session will include interactive demonstrations and practical activities to help build their confidence in responding safely during an emergency. Ending with a fun dress up race, where the children can play the part and dress up in hi vis jackets and helmets. 

An NWAS paramedic will also attend with an ambulance, giving the children the opportunity to explore the ambulance, see some of the equipment used by paramedics and learn more about the role of the ambulance service.
