Explore surgery through virtual reality with PCSM Cardiology Society and VRiMS.

Join us on Wednesday 4 November for an immersive workshop combining applied anatomy, surgical observation and discussion. Choose between open abdominal aortic aneurysm repair or any other surgical procedure listed on the day.

Each approximately 45-minute session will include:

• A short introduction to the relevant anatomy and clinical context.

• Viewing a surgical recording through a VR headset.

• Guided discussion and an opportunity to ask questions.

Want to attend with friends?

Agree on a session beforehand and make sure everyone books the same procedure and exact time slot. Your group’s places are secured once everyone has successfully booked.

Individual bookings are also welcome. Please book one session per person and arrive five minutes before your booked start time.

Venue: Learning Gateway, Fusehill Street Campus, Carlisle. Exact room details will be confirmed before the event.
